🚙 Overland Route via Nepal
This classic route takes devotees from Kathmandu to Kerung, crossing into Tibet by road. It’s ideal for those who wish to enjoy the scenic Himalayan landscapes, gradual altitude acclimatization, and deep cultural experiences along the way.
Major Stops: Kathmandu – Syabrubesi – Kerung – Saga – Lake Manasarovar – Darchen – Mount Kailash Parikrama
🚁 Helicopter Route via Kathmandu or Lucknow–Nepalgunj
For those seeking a shorter and more convenient journey, Sunny Holidays offered the Heli Yatra option:
- Option 1: From Kathmandu → Nepalgunj → Simikot → Hilsa → Taklakot (Tibet)
- Option 2: From Lucknow (India) → Nepalgunj → Simikot → Hilsa → Taklakot
